What d FAQ? COVID-19 and You: Beaches and Rivers

Good news! Beaches, rivers, streams, ponds, springs, similar bodies of water, mud pools and mud volcanos are open to the public without any restrictions.

The previous restrictions as to the consumption of alcohol, playing loud music, public gatherings being limited to 25, parties and the lighting of fires (wherever permitted by law otherwise) no longer apply. You no longer need to wear a mask whilst on the beach - you are only required to wear masks in certain circumstances and you can read about those here.

Similarly, there are no restrictions on Caroni Bird Sanctuary tours or Buccoo Reef tours save for the wearing of masks (as is required in public places).
